Love, Me

Here's a song I use to share with my better-half inside his car. Also one of his many favourites.

As husband & wife, uphold, treasure & laugh with each other all the time. Being together as a couple is not a co-incidence - it's God plan.

A very touching story we want to share with you. Enjoy it....

I read a note my grandma wrote back in nineteen twenty-three.
Grandpa kept it in his coat, and he showed it once to me. he said, "boy, you might not understand, but a long, long time ago,
Grandma's daddy didn't like me none, but i loved your grandma so."

We had this crazy plan to meet and run away together.
Get married in the first town we came to, and live forever.
But nailed to the tree where we were supposed to meet, instead
Of her, i found this letter, and this is what it said:

If you get there before i do, don't give up on me.
I'll meet you when my chores are through;
I don't know how long i'll be.
But i'm not gonna let you down, darling wait and see.
And between now and then, till i see you again,
I'll be loving you. love, me.

I read those words just hours before my grandma passed away,
In the doorway of a church where me and grandpa stopped to pray.
I know i'd never seen him cry in all my fifteen years;
But as he said these words to her, his eyes filled up with tears.

If you get there before i do, don't give up on me.
I'll meet you when my chores are through;
I don't know how long i'll be.
But i'm not gonna let you down, darling wait and see.
And between now and then, till i see you again,
I'll be loving you. love, me.
Between now and then, till i see you again,
I'll be loving you. love, me.

Mona Vie - the Super Juice

I am glad to have attended tonight's Mona Vie Corporate Meeting at Hilton Hotel.

Jeff Graham's input on the production of the juice is indeed informative and useful. Varlin, the VP of International Sales is really a captivating speaker! Both gentlemen flew here from the States to present their business plan and products in a ballroom packed with distributors and guests not only from Singapore but also many from Malaysia and Indonesia.

Even before attending the meeting I am already a strong believer of Mona Vie. With all those additional videos and presentation tonight, it has further boosted my confidence in this super juice. Varlin has shared with us his defeat against leukemia & how his family has gone through the trauma of his illness with him. He is a firm believer of the super juice; and like him, I would also wish to quickly share with anyone the physical and financial benefits of drinking the juice.

Believe me, just like me, you will experience the goodness of the juice if you go by their slogan - DRINK IT. FEEL IT. SHARE IT.

Recommendation from my boy

Have you watched Yui singing in my video clip here? She is one of my boy's favourite singers. He just shared it with me recently. I thought I'll give it a miss but surprising - I like her too.

Yui is a famous young Japanese female singer. Her pieces are fast but light-hearted. Because of her unique voice, she has been asked to sing for the famous Japanese animation dramas - naruto.

Celebrate ! Singapore Gotten A Special 43th Birthday Present

Congratulation! Singapore. A heartwarming-48-years wait for one of our Singapore Olympic Teams to proudly wave to the world. Our women table tennis team has achieved it. The much-supported sport by our government to walk tall in the international sport arena has finally pays off.

I am sure the joy of all my fellow Singaporeans cannot be contained. We should call it our super Sunday. Truly a memorable moment for every one watching the match live & cheering on for our women table tennis team who has won silver.

Bravo! Thank you ladies for the good fight!

Looking & Feeling Good From Inside Out

That was my 3rd visit at the slimming centre. No, not because I am fat (ha, ha, ha .... at least that's what I think) but because I am having some stubborn fats that refuse to go away even though I have been faithfully going to the gym. So... need the consultant to put me in a programme to help me shed off those stubborn fats.

To my surprise, body detoxification, especially the lymphatic canal is crucial if anyone is looking at a slimming programme package. Of course, along the way, we must also co-operate with the consultant on their meal plan advice. Actually, it's quite a torture telling myself to co-operate with them. Why? Because my hubby & I love good food. We are that sort of fellows who will make it a point to try out any good recommendations that appear in news articles or if recommended by friends.

Don't mistaken, I am not asking for the perfect super model figure. I will be just as contented to be slightly slender, toned up; and looking & feeling healthy from inside out.

Not asking for too much, right?

An Afternoon With Richard Clayderman

Here I am, alone at home now sitting in front of my blog writing away. My window next to me & the breeze of the wind gently sweeping the side of my face & my hair. No one around - my children in school, my hubby at work & my mum out with her friend.

Richard Clayderman's playing one of my favourite pieces - "The Power of Love". Every note on his piano sounds so distinct & melodious. Another favourite of mine - "Song from a Secret Garden". Feeling the power & following the beat. Immersing myself into his "Triste Coeur". Imaging how he manoeuvres his fingers gracefully up & down the keyboard.

Hmmm ... so refreshing & so serene ... Peace ...

8 August 2008 - 8.08pm - China Olympic

Friday evening again. Supposed to be a cell group gathering at our cell leader's place. With an impromptu decision, we have changed it into yet another enjoyable evening - watching the once-in-a-four-years Olympic Opening Ceremony hosted by China.

The array of colours from costumes & flags of various countries; and the many symbols of art displayed in dances, lightings & fireworks - all so stunning & captivating. Parades by contingents from 205 countries. Everybody so high-spirited, carefreely walking pass & waving to the spectators; all supportively cheering on. Many members of every contingent were holding cameras & video cameras capturing moments of happiness around them. Some were even talking into their mobile phones while parading around the stadium! Truly carefree & unrestricted in such a formal occasion.

A long awaited dream-come-true celebration of the chinese people in the Mainland, happening on 8 August 2008, at 8.08pm & co-incidentally also on the 8th day of the lunar calendar.

Spring Back To Good Health

My mum had her pacemaker replaced after 10 years . She was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. I am thankful to God for overseeing her well being and has put her through the surgery without any complication.

Replacing a pacemaker in an ordinary patient is actually not a big issue; but for my mum's case, who is on warfarin, a blood thinner, going through such a simple surgery can be quite a complicated matter.

Halleilujah! Praise God for what He has done for my mum - bringing her back to good health, each time when her health was in bad shape - first with cancer and then the relapse and heart problem which required the valve to be changed.

My mum is now well and up planning her next holiday to China in September.

Praise God, Praise God.
